Heck ya. Those cleaned up nice. It's a shame you have to cover that frame up.. Do you have any kind of time frame yet as to when you will have it up and going??

 

Not really a timeframe as I'm only held up by the motor right now. I would like to finish the polishing by the end of this next weekend though. Then I have to take it to the machine shop to get the head planed and get new valve springs and guides installed along with a new cam chain while I have it apart.

I HAVE to be done by the beginning of April though!!!

 

I was just looking at the before pics, and WOW what a difference!! 2 weeks left. Do you think you are going to make it?

 

I hope so. I've been polishing away lately and hope to have that done by the weekend.

It will be tight, but it'll be okay.

Here are some updated pictures. Sorry about the wait, but I'm still polishing the damn thing. It IS getting better though, I see the light.

The Cam Cover, Head, and Jug are done as far as I'm concerned.

There are alot of imperfections and areas that I couldn't quite get to, but I'll be damned if I'm going to polish all spring and summer to get them.

The Case Covers need a few touchups, but mostly all I have left is the case itself and I've sanded it quite a bit already. Next Friday is it!!!!!!

I had a port job, but the surface was pretty rough. I probably killed what bottom end I had by polishing, but it should run like a raped ape on the topend.
