bad clutch plates ?

Default bad clutch plates ?

i went four wheeling the other day and my buddy got stuck in the mud and i pulled him out of the mud with my quad and now i dont have any power in 1 2 3 4 5 6 i do have power in reverse it feels like the trains is slipping but someone said "i think its your clutch plates" ....... does anyone have any advice

I dont think the 03 had any of those new fangled slushboxes or cvt's in which case you have a conventional geared transmission. Metal gears and chains do not "slip" without serious problems. When people describe a slip in the transmission what they mean is a slip in the clutch, as its the only thing in the tranny capable of slipping without shelling it out. My guess is you needed alot of clutch when you pulled him out and burned it up, so I think your friend is right.
