This is great!
I haven't had a dirt bike since I raced a little motocross in the mid 70'S in the 125 amature class. I wanted to get back in the dirt, with a bike I could also use around town -AND wanted something that my 15 year old son and I could do together.
I had been doing a little research and was looking at Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha, but was traveling for business one day and stopped at a Kawaski/ Honda Dealer. Ended up looking at a left over 07 KLX 250 and really liked it, but wanted to geta matching bike for my son.The dealer said that hehad a second one still in the crate, so I bought both and surprised my son about a week later.
His response, WOW and then a little later he said "dad, I don't know what this cost, but I feel guilty...I didn't really do anything to deserve this".He is a great kid that went through about 30 surgeries in his first 7 years on this planet -he deserves it!
For the time, we'll just ride them like they are, but will definitly be tweaking them with all of the great stuff on this site!
Can anyone recommend some good dirt trailsin the greater Syracuse NY area?
Thanks, Glen
