My early 90's mule is shaking feverishly at mid to high RPMs. Any thoughts, ideas appreciated. I have come to find that this is the original drive belt on a 1990 KAF 540-C1 could this be the problem and where can I find a replacement belt? How difficult is the replacement proceedure for a shade tree mechanic such asmyself? Thanks!

 

Sounds like something is out of balance. I don't really know much about quads, but is it a clutch or auto? Could there be something inside the motor that has become a little lop sided? CV joints? I'm just throwing ideas out there. You could even have a bent half shaft, that will really cause it to shake. Take off all 4 tires and check them out, and then the drive system.
