What should i look for when i pick it up?

I can pick a '99 that runs for around $1,750 - $2,000
its faded and needs a new seat cover but the engine compartment is really clean. i believe it has low hours on it, but it has been left in the sun.

Real good ski if you like the couch rides. It was originally built on the zxi platform. The 150 means 150 horsepower. Top end is limited to 68 on all skis after '97. They are alot of fun if you want to scoop it up great, if you decide to pass let me know where it is and I'll prolly get it. Pretty reliable, the engines are VERY expensive should you scatter it. Make sure you can test ride it first. Many of them have the KATS system (Kawasaki Automatic Trim System) that usually went out and was too cost inhibitive to have fixed. Just not worth the cost of the repair. If that goes it's no biggie you just can't control how high the ski sits out of the water. The console would go out kinda often but they usually ran pretty well. I would suggest removing the oil mixing pump, putting on a block off plate and just mix your own fuel. It is a little bit of a hassle but at least you have the piece of mind so you don't have to worry about the pump going bad and smoking the motor.

On the ultra 150 you can't remove oil pump & pre mix without some mods to motor. Oil pump also lubes crank if you pre mix it you will toast it !!!!!

the guy that i am tring to get it from will not return my phone call. i think he said he would let both of his skis go for $3500 and now i think he realizes that they are worth more. at least he could come clean and say i screwed up and i want a little more for them. i'll keep bugging him though.

is there a webpage about my 2000 ulta 150?? I wouldn't believe it unless i read it officially. there must be a govenor to limit it to under 70 mph....any chance you know how to remove that?
