I have 1996 Kawasaki Jet Ski 2cyl. taken it out 4 times this year and everytime takes forever to warm it up no acceleration total bogging down for first 45 mins in the water then always runs great. no problems at all,


I had carb rebulit new coil, plugs and fuel filter. many tanks of gas,
so i know not gas.

Also seems to run fine on land when under no load and can accelerate it on the trailer.

I seen simular thread about running good on trailer then no good in water but mine eventully gets better like warmed up then runs perfect

please help

 

First of all welcome to the forums. I really don't know what the problem could be since I have never even sat on a Jet Ski let alone rode or worked on one. But there should be someone on here soon that might have an answer. But in the mean time, watch this little video, we just watched it again the other night with family over.
