Default STX 900 stopped running

I was at the lake yesterday, started, no problem, drove for about an hour, no problem, but as I was returning to shore the ski bogged down and then ran fine. It had done this before on other days, but always fixed itself. Went out again and it died in the middle of the lake. Tried restarting by using choke, I don't know if it helped or not, but got it started and made it back to shore. Went to go out again, started, got about 15 feet, died and wouldn't start again. The gas is fresh, even topped it off....Could it be the coil, fuel pump???

This is exactly what happened to mine. Full tank of gas as well, but acting like it isnt getting fuel. I just pulled the carbs off yesterday. I was told there was a vacuum operated diaphragm on the carb that acts as a fuel pump. I will post up on here as soon as I find out what the problem is.

I checked out my jetski and found I am not getting any fire. I took out black box or brain because I think that is why I am having problems. A new black box is $300.00. If I buy one and it doesnt fix the problem, I am out 300 bucks. Is there anyway to test a black box?

Default Ignitor

I am having my Jet Ski repaired. Alamo Jet Ski is saying I had a bad ignitor. They said it is not where the brain or black box is located. I would guess it is some type of sensor that is located somewhere on the engine that tells the black box when to fire. It is going cost over $700.00 to fix. I hope this helps someone.......
