My 2001 sts 900 was having problems with water flowing through it then it seemed to fix itself. Nothing was stuck in the impeller.
I took it for a ride and it ran great for about 15mins then it came to a sudden stop. I tried to start it and it wouldent turn over it sounded really rough.
A friend of mine towed me in and we pulled it out of the water and tried to start it to flush it out but it wouldent start it would try but no go.
A day later I got it to start and flushed it out but it sounds like hell but idels and if U give it gas it comes to an abrupt stop.
Does anybody know whats going?

Yep i had a very similar problem with my sea doo. it was the electrical system. it was a few hundred dollaz to fix. not sure what else it would be.

 

sounds like the motor has seized. would check compression on all cylinders
