Impeller Replacement - 1998 750 STX
Can somebody please post a basic procedure for replacing an impeller on a 1998 750 STX? I've never taken a jet pump apart before, so I'm just looking for the basics. It's amazing what a river rock can do to an impeller, and it's even more amazing when the rock is still in the jet after a day of riding...
I also have a 1995 750 ST. If that procedure is any different, I would like to know.
Thanks a bunch in advance for any help...

take all the bolts out of the pump gaurd on the under side of the hull, remove reverse sheild, steering cable, then the (4) 14mm bolt on the back side, youll need a 12 foot extension to get back there, then just grab the pump housing and start to wiggle it back and forth, now as for taking, the pump apart to get to the impeller, i cant tell you that, due to the fact you need kawi speciality tools, but at this point it would be a great place to take the pump and new impeller, to your local authorized kawasaki dealership
