1. Verify fuel is available on the primary fuel line from the tank (siphon method). Fuel filter (metal) within the tank becomes clogged if fuel is not drained and left for long period of time.
2. Verify fuel pump is receiving vacum from the engine. Test the air line off of the front cylinder intake. Utilize a vacum meter.
3. Remove the carb from the intake manifold.
(air vent) straight bit screwdriver.
(air housing) (4) 10mm bolts.
(throttle cable) manually accelerate throttle so cable can twist to be removed through slot.
(Choke cable) manually full choke so cable can twist to be removed through slot.
(primary and return fuel line) remove from carb, ensure they remain above tank by tying them off to prevent fuel drainage into hull.
(fuel pump vacum hose) remove from carb.
(carb) bend metal retaining tabs and remove (2) 10mm bolts.
Seperate gasket from carb/intake manifold.
test fuel pump (suck/blow) into air port. fuel should leave carb through the return line port.... careful.
If not disassemble and inspect/replace carb components
