1994 B2 750ss Trim Problem
Can anyone help me to test the various components of the trim so I can find which part is causing the problem?
I have power up to the fuse and the fuse is ok but the trim motor does not run, the motor is not seized.
I have checked the motor and can't get a reading across the commutator I have opened up the motor and get a reading from the motor wires to one of the brushes but not to the other, the brush seems to be connected to one side of a resistor/capacitor I get a reading to one side but not across it, Any idea what it is and what the value of it (Ω/µf) I presume the motor should run if connected direct to a 12v supply.
