Well we were doin some work at this guys house and i seen this bike in a shed ,one thing led to another and 500 bucks later she was home.
I use to be heavy into the sport bike scene in the 80's even won a couple of local bike show awards for my 83 7/1150 kat ,but then came a son,house,mini van ect. and i got out of bikes.
Recently my son developed a DNA inherit need for speed his choice was ATV racing and i found that old twitch and then that old red gpz called out to my past and always wanting one of those pre 83 kawis
The bike has 6487.8 kms on the clock but from so many shovels and god knows what else the tank suffered some major dents, it had some oxidation on the engine aluminum but she was intact.
I planned on a restore but that old swap and make it fit bug got me so now ive got a zx9 usd forks on her waitin for a 93 1100 Zephyr swingarm and scorred a set of KYB shocks off a zrx1200 and a set of zzr pegs, if i cant find a good tank im thinkin zrx tank ,"just thinkin", a set of 86-88 gsxr carbs and an Earls 13 row oil cooler just for starts, my accountant says i have too go slow
