1972 F7 175
I just got a really nice F7 175 rom my Uncle's brother (an in-law). He bought the bike brand new in 1972 and rode it only 2200 miles. It went into storage in 1997 where it sat until 2 weeks ago. It was covered well over the storage time and only had a little surface rust. It cleaned up nicely and looks lik it's only about 2 years old. The only bad part is he dropped it in the dirt the first time out in '72 and deaply dented the gas tank. It's a shme too, since the tank is almost perfect otherwise. I've bought a used tank off Ebay and hoe it will help the overall look.
I've got to get the shop manual, or at least the Cylmer one. The owners manual doesn't say much.
One question I have is about the spark plug. It's using a bh9 NGK and it's supposed to use a surface gap plug (Champion l-19V). I can't find this plug, but will the NGK l-20V work correctly. The bike tends to load up bog down a little) between 4500 and 5500 RPM.
Thanks
