zxr 750 H1 advice needed . . Air Box set up
Hi. Be gentle with me . . New to jap stuff. Bought a zxr 750 H1. There is an air filter box connected to carbs. To the rear of the filter box it states K+N filter. Was also told I was missing parts of air box! Looking from below tank up into air box I can see the filter with no cover. Is that right? Also what are the 2 hoover tube things that connect to top of fuel tank. On the underside of the tank where the tubes blow air to there is nothing to connect to. Should the tubes be blowing to the air box or just the top end of engine. Sorry to probably appear to be totally brain dead but have only ever owned britsh bikes ie Bonnies etc. All help greatly received . . . especially a link to a diagram so I can see what I should have.? ! Ride safe . . . oxygeneuk

This should help get you started. Also check out the manual section for a pdf for this ride if you do not own a manual yet.
The Hoover Tubes actually direct cold air onto the engine and does not pressurize the air box what so ever. The rear tubes on the rear of the air box is for silencing the air noise and sucking sounds under wfo. (duct air tubes)
I still own an H2 model myself. (Kind of neglected at the moment)
