Zx7r won't start
Put my zx7r p2 back on the road in feb but only got to ride it once due to work and then all this rain we have been having.
Tried to start it the other day, it's started then died out straight away, so I thought water might have got in from all the rain. Drained some of the tank, drained the float bowls but it was all fuel not water. Checked to see if there was a spark and there was although it was weak. Charged battery and tried again, it's puffed like it was going to start but then nothing.
All it does now is turn over but not fire.
The fuel is only about a month old.

Drain the carb bowls (little screw on side of bowl) and put in fresh gas. Don't grind on the starter trying to get the old stuff to fire; it simply doesn't. (Makes me angry as the dickens, too. The gas from the "old days" used to be able to sit for a YEAR and not go bad!)
Sorry; bad form. Welcome to the Forums, Oz! Post up a pic or three. I ALWAYS enjoy seeing ZX7's.
Gear up.

That's where I would begin. At least drain the bowls. If you have another vehicle or weed wacker or something to burn the rest of the fuel (in the tank,) I would probably drain the whole thing and start completely fresh---but that's just me.
