86 zx1000 is there anyone who has a float level setting for this bike? the clymer manual says to use some kawasaki too and fill the carb with gas is there any easier way?

 

Give this a try:

a -$1.00 glass tube antifreeze tester. take the rubber suction bulb off the top and let the little float ***** drop out. Then just plug the tester's vinyl tube into the carb bowl nipple.



Don't use a straight piece of clear tubing to measure your float level. The surface tension of the thin tube can offset your readings.
