WHEEL VIBRATION
I just got a new Dunlop Qualifier 180/55/17 on the rear. Front remains the Dunlop model prior to this one. I'm getting a weird vibration while riding. The faster I go, the stronger it gets. Is it because it's a new tire? Do i need to maybe let some air out? I checked the cotter pin and my chain seems ok. I can't see what's going on while I"m riding it so I'm just wondering what some common causes are so I know what route I want to take.
Thanks for your help!

RE: WHEEL VIBRATION
Welcome to the forums,
balance is one thing, but with the computerized balance machine it is pretty hard to screw up unless the fool is adding to much weight on one side and then more on the other to compensate. If this is the case you will have a lot of wheel weights on the rim.
More likely it is not aligned with the front. There are few ways to check but they are noit so easy unless you have the right tools. By no way an I implying that you don’t have the tools or the skill to do it though.
Best bet is to return too the tire shop and explain your problem. Have them check the alignment.
Let us know.
BTW here that qualifier is a dam nice tire and nice avater!

RE: WHEEL VIBRATION
Thanks for the advice! I will go do that today. I was afraid my tire was going to fall off or something when I was riding!
