i have a 99 zx7r and i want to get other wheels, just for a new look. i've heard that there are different wheel specifications for the zx7r. i would have thought if it fits one it would fit them all. Actually i would think all the zx rockects should have the same dimensional wheels, so that they would all be interchangable. What specs do i need to make sure of with the wheels, bearings (or whatever else) in order to make sure that when i buy new wheels they will mount without incident.

 

I am not sure about the wheel you are talking about but are you trying to upgrade to a better aftermarket wheel or changing color.

If your changing color you may want to consider having your wheels powder coated. If it is the aftermarket and your trying to lighten your load the manufacture of the wheel should have all those specs.

 

i just want polished wheels and don't want to go through the labor of polishing mine and i see them show up on ebay every now and then, but i don't know if they'll work

 

Call the dealer and ask what years will fit and start shopping.
