Vulcan Exhaust Question
I'm new to this forum, and honestly new to the Motorcycle crowd. So hopefully this is not a completely stupid question, but I'd like to know how to drill out my stock mufflers to get some more sound out of my '06 Vulcan 900 Classic. I plan on getting new pipes for it a little later on but I was told that this could be done in the meantime. Thanx in advance.

RE: Vulcan Exhaust Question
Welcome to the forums!!
On that new of a bike, I don't know if I would want to knock out those baffles. But on an old Honda rat rod type thing I had, I used a piece of rebar and a BFH..... Be careful tho', in some places, the popo will put there night stick in your pipe to see if you have removed the baffles. Expensice ticket
It would probably be better for ya, to just save and buy some new pipes. There were some on Ebay not long ago I noticed for $180.00. ... Then if you ever sell the bike, or what not, you can put the factory pipes back on.
If you have a really big drill bit, and a BF Drill, you can drill out the end of them. But that metal is harder than it looks..
