My Vulcan 2000 makes a strange noise about 30% of the time I am making a low speed - right hand turn. It is a few short metal on metal sounds that appears to be comming from the front half of the bike. It's sound like a hammer hitting the underside of the gas tank.
Any thoughts?

The believe the sound from your gas cap is from the pressure relief valve. If you want to, just open the gas cap and the pressure will be relieved.
Let me know if you find a fix for the knocking sound that we are both experiencing
Thx
