Upgrade help please.
Hello Everyone.
I am in desprate search of information for doing some mods to my 110cc Kawasaki. I have looked everywhere and can't find much help. Let me begin by admitting that I am brand new to the world of motorcycles and I don't know much about what I am talking about. Any help would be appreciated.
I live in Thailand and I own a Kawasaki KSR110. It is a dual sport mini bike that has the same engine as the KLX110. It is only sold in Japan and Thailand so there isn't much info avaliable for it (in english). The manual I got with the bike is all in Thai so it is not much help.
I want to install a bore up kit. I am looking at a 160cc kit but I know I need to bore the case. Unfortunately I really don't know what this involves and in Asia I really want to be sure the machine shop knows what they are doing. Can anyone send me some pictures or instructions on case boring?
As I shop around, it looks like you can't upgrade one thing without doing it all. I have seen the BBR D-comp cam shaft, Upgrade output shaft, and main gear shaft. I'm pretty good about technical stuff, but I don't know what all these pieces do in the engine. I would love it if I could have an exploded view of the engine, or one like it that explains what the heck all these pieces do.
If there is anyone out there who is a gearhead and would like to explain some stuff to an amature, I would very much appreciate it. There are lots of modifications I would like to do, but I want to be sure before I spend the money.

So far I haven't had any feedback with any information.
Last night I talked to a guy on the phone and he told me that if I attach the piston to the engine and run it through the cycle I will see what needs to be done when the piston gets to the bottom of the stroke. From this I assume the bore needs to be deeper, not larger diameter. I'm left to wonder if the bore will need polished or what.
Hopefully I'll get some good tech help soon.
