Trouble with oil filter
I think this is the right place. I decided to change my oil on my own for the first time. It's my new 2011 kawasaki ninja zx6r. I've tried so hard to pull off the oil filter and for the life of me it feels like it's welded/fused on there. What can I possibly do that i can take it off without taking it to a dealer...

I use 3 bolts and a rubber band wrench on those over torqued from the factory filters. (place the 3 bolts inside of the band wrench, when tightening, the heads will set themselves into the metal filter siding which allows more grip). I hate the thought of puncturing the filter.

Even when I made a hole in mine, it didn't budge. I saw a couple of good looking oil filter wrenches I'm gonna try out. THe area is very small, so nothing too big will work. I'm gonna try something like this

or this
They seem to be able to fit in the small area while being able to use small (whatever you call it wrench that works with these, i don't know my wrenches well). What it says it does from what I understand is it gets tighter and tighter around the filter until you can twist the SOB off. Any suggestions maybe about these 2?
