Swing arm
Hi guys was wondering if u lot could help me again the rear bearing in my sprocket carrier ( cush drive ) collapsed today , ( think i might have put the spacers in the wrong way ) but the big problem is the chain sprocket was rubbing against the swing arm for about 20 miles i now have a guage on the inside at the welded area , do u guys know if the arm is solid alloy or if it is hollow , the guage is about 2 mm deep do u think i should get a new swing arm just to be safe ?? cheers again guys
(might tell the wife i dont feel safe riding it now and trade it in for a zx 10 lol )

RE: Swing arm
2mm is a big gouge! Normally all swingarms are tubing/hollow. 2mm should have ground it through the Aluminum. 20 miles and you did not hear this happening? Re welding it would be the cheapest thing yes. Should not cause any other issues unless it becomes distorted due to the welding.
