I go to start up my 03 636 today and it wont start. when you hold the starter in it just softly puts and wont turn over. when its softly putting there is alittle bit of exhaust coming out with barely any pressure. i hooked it up to a couple diffrent batters with the same results

sounds like a dead battery. u have a few options here, 1 the safest way. goto the local bike shop or or walmart and buy a battery tender, hook it up and let the battery charge. or you can jump the bike, but not like a car, hook up the cables to the battery as usually but DON'T turn on the key to the bike, electroics get ruined that way. start the car and let it charge up the battery, make sure to disconnect the jumper cables before you attempt to start the bike. or you can remove the battery and hook up jumber cables to the battery this way there is no change in messing up your bike. if the problem consists, i would have the battery tested.

If it's not the battery, could be a bad conection or a bad battery cable.
