Post Spring Rubbers

I have a 1997 Vulcan 1500 classic. It has aftermarket V&H exhaust .The problem I am having is when the wife and I are on it it bottoms out on the exhaust when cornering . The combined weight is approx.400 lbs. I am looking at taking this bike across the country towing a trailer and was wondering if there was any body that knows any where to get spring rubbers to put between the springs to stiffen up the rear suspension. The shocks are already set to the stiffest setting
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

welcome to KF.

Not sure on this one. If the suspension is not set up for the weight, the bike will never handle. Cruisers....two up which I am not into that theme. Not safe in my opinion. Ya bottom out and where does the energy go? I know, no answers

again welcome to KF

The 1997 doesn't not sure about anything else. Also does anybody know the stock shock length because I am thinking about getting some Heavy Duty Progressive Shocks instead of spring rubbers

Progressive should list available options by the year and model. Give them the weight numbers, and they should be able to match an appropriate spring/shock combo for you.
(A reputable dealer-retailer should be able to help you.)
Welcome to KF!
