Seafoam?

Seafoam is good stuff. I'm not a real big fan of using a regular additive. But every 3 or 4 tanks throw a dash in the fuel. The vids with the smoking, seafoam can be added into the intake system instead of the fuel system, which mixes directly into the combustion chamber, causing the smoke. ON your bike, or any fuel injected car, it would be wise to only use it in the fuel. Used in the fuel like a carb / fi cleaner, it won't cause anything to smoke.

depending on the mix ratio as well.. it'll smoke a tiny bit if theres alot of it in the tank, but ya. seaform is the bomb. have ALOT of it in the shop.. amazing stuff

I use ordinary diesel fuel about once every 10,000 miles, but as I've never had problems with dirty carbs, injectors or fuel systems I can't honestly say that it does any good at all. The same is probably true of sea foam and all the other expensive additives. I think you're just throwing money away.
If nothing else, diesel is a good lubricator for the high pressure injector pump. Add about 5% to a tankful of petrol.

haha.... thats great... it really is amazing how much that seafoam smokes......
Speaking of tranny fluid, my buddy is a ford mechanic, and him and another mechanic at work were looking at diesel and tranny fluid, and reaized it wasnt that different, so they run the old tranny fluid through a filter and the one guy uses it as fuel for his super duty.. been going a month on it so far... no problems!!!!!! its covered under warranty if anything happens.... crazy stuff.

seafoam is actually similar to trans fluid but with more solvents in it - as far as chemicals go you definately don't want to drink it or take a bath in it. but it does scrub out the combustion compartment (thats what the smoke is, all the crap its removing)
