Default riding in high temps

I will be moving to the desert in Arizona in a few weeks and plan to ride year round. The city I am moving to gets an annual rainfall of just 5 1/2 inches per year, the problem is the temp outside in the summers can reach 120+ and the temp does'nt drop below 100 even at night for 2-3 months out of the year. My question is what can I do to minimise the potential damage the high temps can cause to my bike. Anyone have ideas about oil/coolant/maintenance etc.... I have a 07 1600cc meanstreak, liquid cooled, elec fuel injection, shaft drive, and there is a fan behind the radiator. Any help or suggestions would be great!!!!!!!!!!!

You really don't need to do anything to "prep" it for higher outside temps. Kawasaki and essentially all bike manufacturers for that matter have done enough testing on their bikes to assure proper running in all temperature extremes. However, in my opinion the one thing that would make more of a difference than anything else, it would be switching to synthetic oil. Going synthetic will give you much more stable oil for the hot weather than regular oil.

Hope this helps. And, welcome to the forums!

make sure the coolent is always on the full line. Also know some good places to stop and let the bike cool down and not to mention where you can get some fluids in you to rehydirate yourself. i usually like to stop at a QT or something like that.

Don't forget to clean out the bugs lodged in your rad as well. Keep the rad clean.
