Replacing the fork seals
I just bought a 93 EX250 Ninja and it needs it's fork seals replaced. I can't seem to find a how to on getting them done. I've ordered the parts for it, but can anyone lend some experience on how to do it?

i guess you'll need a writeup, eh? i've done one here on inverted forks, which aren't that much different, but if i get to the shop or warehouse here soon, i'll take some pics and do one on non-inverted forks. the model will be a '93 ZX6-E.
it's pretty straight forward tho, look up the how-to in the d-i-y section, and that should be pretty close if you're in a pinch and need it done now..
welcome to KF!

theres an inside and outside diameter to your fork tubes. the outside diameter is simply the "width" of the tube on the chromed, outside part. unless Ted means the actual entire fork assemble..
but anyway, the outside diameter will be needed should you use a seal driver for your installation.

Which can be accomplished with a piece of PVC the same diameter, there's not much by the way of force needed in 250 tubes. They'll practically go in with you fingers. Oil capacity is the important part. The right cc's of oil equally in each tube. Uneven oil level we cause a blowout.
