Default Repacking a Hindle

I've got the rivets drilled out, but for the life of me I can't get the caps off my Hindle muffler so I can repack it.

I've tried heating the can but the caps are in there good.

Any tips/tricks?

Try WD or Break Free. How old is your pipe? Post some pics of the process it would be great to put into the DIY section.
