has anyone installed a remote start on a 2006 zx10r? or even any zx ninja model? i just can't mine to work, having trouble finding the right wire for the "ACC" wire. it will crank over but it not starting.

help!

 

Personally I wouldn't want to do it. It would require parking your bike in neutral, and IMHO that is not a good idea. Too easy to get it knocked over. Only time my bikes see neutral is when I'm at a stop light ( I know, bad habit) and when it's on the rear stand lubing the chain.

In response to your question. I'm not sure it can be done. A buddy of mine lost his key to his ZRX one day. We found what wires it would take to start it, but the starter just cranked. Nothing fired. There was something we needed to do with resistors or something like that to get it to fire. I think it's something to keep people from hotwiring the bike to steal it.

 

thank for the imput.. but with newer bike the engine will not crank if its in gear..unless you hold in the clutch lever.
