rear suspension adjustment
hey everyone, I have a 01 ZX9R and up to now i have ridden alone. well, my wife wants to go out with me on the bike since the weather is nice and all. but the suspension isnt set up right.
my bike is set up for one rider. can anyone tell me how to adjust the rear suspension to accomodate the extra 140 lbs.? i know that there are two adjustments, preload and compression. my other question would be; do i have to adjust the front comp. and preload also?
any help would be appreciated.

RE: rear suspension adjustment
i would adjust both the front AND rear, during acceloration, the rear is going to squat more, so you can compensate by cranking up the preload, and compression, same with the front when braking, its going to have a lot more roll to it, i kept my stock setting and my friend and i went on a ride, he weighs the same as me, so it was double what the bike was set for, when we rode, there was a lot more movement of the bike, almost too much for comfort! i would just stiffen up the fornt and rear a bit and try it
