Default Possible Immobiliser Prob

Hey Ladies/ Gents

I have a '99 ZX6R and have recently been having probs with the battery.

Basically it went flat. I eventually got a charger and now have full juice in the battery.

However since charging the battery, I have tail light, headlight and dial lights, but as I press the ignition I have nothing. There's a quiet 'whirring' sound coming from a black box under the riders seat?? Its in neutral etc but no turn over or anything. I have a cheap alarm installed which I think was draining the battery, but as far as I'm aware its only an alarm. However I wonder if there's a built in Kawasaki immobiliser which has now cut in since the battery died.

Can anybody help me?

I'd really appreciate it

Deejay
