I bought a klx250 a couple weeks ago from a guy how previously had the bike stolen from him. i had to bypass the ignition because it had been attacked with a screwdriver so I just added in the 100ohm resistor and a toggle switch for power. I got the bike running great and have had it out in the mountains a few weekends now. I went just last weekend and it worked great then when I got home I parked it. Left it for the night (pretty dirty) and planned on taking it to the car wash in the morning. Went out in the morning and there was no power.... I've had the battery checked and its good. Not very knowledgable with these bikes as I haven't owned it long but have an idea what I'm doing. Any help would be appreciated. Ps I tried bump starting it but it wouldn't start for me, and don't have a kickstart.

 

Also I've checked the 20a fuse under the seat and its fine. Along with one other box with two little fuses in it as well.

 

Did you try jumping from another battery?

 

I don't have another battery to try it on at the moment but I had the battery tested at Canadian tire and they said it's fine and its brand new
