need help to set suspesion for my weght?
my zx 10 feels stiff and i dont want to mess with it because a friend told me once u touch it its really hard to get it back to normal! my tire slips and i let my friend ride and he drives a gsxr 1000 and i rode it and his suspension is softer and his bike felt like it turned and handled bitter than mine. i can get a guy that races bikes around my area but i have spent 4000$ in the last month already and im broke so if someone can help would love it!

Once you got the sag set then you can make slight adjustments to soften or harden. Always record the # of clicks so if you need to return to the proper sag you can refer to you notes and not have to go through the whole process.

So true, record some numbers. Get your static sag and rider sag. This will help in determining your spring numbers also. Too soft or too hard? Just the basics.

thanks for the feed back and soon as i can afford it i will get my buddy to do the shocks but im not to sure about the spring on the bike i just want to get the stiffness right for my weight and height im on my tippy toes right now and i want to get the bike handling in the corners a little better and maybe preserve the back tire a little more

notstock is wish i weighed 165 im five foot eight and 200 pounds nothing ever fits my dynamics LOL im going to get the sag right and that should be enough to get the handling better they say the way the bike comes stock that the average person will never come close to riding to the bikes potential and im just starting off on it so i have a long way to go!

I here you, my R1 is adjusted all the out on the preload and it is still not set perfect but works well for the street.
I would not worry too much about the height unless you are falling over when stopped. Once you are going there is no need for your feet to come off the pegs anyway.
