crazy @ss wire...

 

See on the last post that 3rd picture is where the wire is connected to the gas tank, it then leads to the plastic cap which i think connects all the grounds together and leads to the ground connected to the negative terminal.

 

he must have just found the nearest wire and used it for a quick fix...

 

connects the grounds to a base metal. If the base metal/wire is not making good contact, yes you may have issues. (grounding issue)

 

i think it is makung good contact its just the fack that there is a fuse on a ground wire, i think saturday im gona re wire it myself what gauge wire should i use and also should i replace the plastic cap connecting the grounds together?

 

use solderless connectors to connect the wires instead of the twist caps...not sure about the guage...16 guage maybe???

 

What about where the 4 wires connect to the plastic cap?

 

you can either rewire all of them or just the one that is connected by the red wire...

 

On the first set of pics you uploaded the second one, that plastic pice the red wire runs to has 3 other wires going to it, one being the ground that goes to the negative battery, what if i want to replace that too?

 

you could rewire the plug...or wire all four wires with disconnects...
