On my 05 636 there is a red wire with a fuse in it, it has a rubber cap and on the insideof the cap is the # 5, anyone know what the wire is for?

Does your bike have an aftermarket 12 volt power supply? Someone may have actually wired it in correctly and fused it.

 

Idk all i know is the fuse goes from one plastic connector to another and it blows everytime i put gas in the bike and when i take the fuse out he bike slowly dies and no fuel flashes on the display.

 

You have a direct short. Putting gas in the bike makes and taking the fuse out makes me su****ious of the fuel pump at the moment. I would be placing my meter on that pump for sh*ts and grins. You have your electrical diagram in front of you?

 

sadly no and iv been tOld there isnt even supposed to be a fuse in that location : (

 

Have you verified fuel flow? pump pressure, that good stuff. There are other areas such as the immobilizer, battery, rectifier, etc having issues to be checking out.

 

Im new to the kawa and have no idea, when the fuse is working the bike runs great, iv had people tell me it sounds like a bad ground wire.

 

a bad ground will get you slowed down. But you have been talking about a fuse going out. Since the fuse box is on the left side under the seat, what amp fuse is blowing?
