My New ZZR600 Kawa
Hey yall whats up. I am a new rider and just bought my first bike, the ZZR600 Kawa, everything is fantastic on the bike. Being totally out of my element, I am trying to pick up as much information as possible about bikes in general...especially mine =). What should tire pressure be at/ How often should i check it?? How often should i lube and check the tightness of the chain?? If someone with knowledge about gear ratios and stuff like that in general, i would LOVE to know anything yall have to tell me! Im like a sponge, soakin it all in!! Thanks, God Bless!!

Check in the manual sticky in the General Discussion. There may also be one in the 600cc bike section. If you still cannot find it with the search button. I am not sure what ZZR manuals I have, so let me know what year you have and I will see if I have that information for you. Good luck

Tire pressure can be variable depending on how you ride, somewhere between 30 and 35 should be a good starting point, try different pressures and see how it suits you, a few psi can make a huge difference.
Lube the chain every 2-3 tanks and check the tension each time.
Stock gear ratio's will do you just fine for learning, no need to get wild just yet. If you get the strange urge to do something crazy, there are a few folks around here who can get the ZZR up.
feel free to bring on the questions, if we dont know the answer, we are pretty good at making stuff up. Gear up and ride safe.
