Whats up guys and gals. I am getting a new 250R in a week or so and want to mod it up pretty good. Definitely a Dyno jet kit. Aside from that, I need to know what products in the muffler and intake area are going to give me the most I can possibly get out of my little 250. Aslo I heard that if you change the hubs and sprockets you can get around 15-20 more HP. On another forum someone said that in your trannie is a bracket when switched off will make your 250 do 170????? I think he's mistaken. Tell me what you folks think. Thanks. Blue or Red???????? I can't decide.

There's nothing there regarding mods.

 

i gotta get one of those magic tranny switches. you can get a muzzy pipe and different air filter and jet it properly and do a fender eliminator to clean it up.

 

You and me both! I think Kawi ripped me off on my 10r now.

There are some tweaks that can be done to any engine and timing along with the standard exhaust change outs etc. Not much has been out there to really boost the 250's. By the time you spend $3000 on mods you should have bought the 6r instead type of thing.
