I have an 09 KLX 250. New to the sight but not to the bikes.
What all should I do to the bike now after installing a Hmf slip on pipe. I know about the carb slide drilling but what jet would you try and which needle I used a klx in my klr.

 

Is the KLR needle that much different over the KLX? You tell us since you used both it seems.

 

The stock klr 650 needle is useless we always put in a klx needle from schnitz racing. I think this payday I will order a DJ jet kit and a Uni filter for now. All I can say is the hmf pipe changed the bike completly for the good.
