RE: mixture screw settings
My bike for instance wouldn't say in the clymer manual what to set the idle mix screws at. (The manual says the screws are factory set, and should not be adjusted.)After talking and posting about my problem, no one actually had a straight answer. It turns out that on my '81 KZ750 the more you turn the screw out, the leaner the mixture becomes. I was messing with the screw settings for sometime before it finally felt right.
I'm sorry I can't really give you a complete answer myself, hopefully someone else here knows for sure.
