Missing clutch finger - a problem?

Hey guys
i picked up a second hand zx6r that needed some minor work on it, during which a clutch finger broke off (leaving 12?). Now the bike seems to ride ok and changes gear fine. However, I am aware of the centrifugal forces here and the shear speeds involved.
Do I need to replace it? Is it going to have any long term affect?
Thanks in advance!!!!

To answer your question, I don't know
But, if it were me, I would replace it. The problem with the broken finger is that it becomes the weak link and the others around it get stuck with more pressure. I would think that over time, it could cause catastrophic failure. But, again, I don't know for sure, but for safety, I would change it.

You are talking about the tangs on the friction and steel plates?
