Default Looking for ignition parts

I purchased a 1997 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic this past August, have rode over 4000 miles and on a couple of occasion the bike has just cut off, recently it has become more often and now I am not confident in the bikes performance. The ignition system was changes by the previous owner to a Dyna 2000 system. It is over ten years old and no longer supported, nor is there a replacement available for it. This weekend I just about did not make it home and have removed the old Dyna 200o system. My problem now is that all of the old system was removed. I need help in locating an OEM system or a similar system to the Dyna 2000 any suggestions or if someone has converted a bike and would sell me the OEM system that would be great. You can email me at dmanera@yorkcitysc.com Thanks

The reply:

Dear Mr. Gifford,

Thank you for your interest in Dynatek ignitions. Unfortunately, we do not offer an ignition system for this model at this time. The Dyna 2000 has been long out of production and parts are no longer available. I am afraid the only solution is a stock unit. If we can be of any further assistance, please feel free to contact us anytime.

Thank you,
Scott Valentine
