Is it possible to change out a 1987 KX250 Rotor & Stator with a later year rotor & stator if I change out the Coil, Igniter & wiring at the same time? Rotor to shaft fit?
If yes, what years would work best? 1989 thru ??
Has anyone on this Forum done this?

 

stator- 21003-1171
rotor- 21007-1141 (3 models use that number)
ignitor- 21119-1220

I have not tried what you had asked. You probably have the parts fiche anyways, but looks like the rotor was used in 3 models.
