Default KX 500 problems

So I have a problem or should I say my friend has a problem. I put back together my friends KX 500 and I just snugged up all of the bolts and told him when he gets home to check his manual for all the torque specs. So generally the kid did not listen to me, so he gorrilla'd it and broke some bolts. Now for the bolts he broke, the bolts that hold on the caps for the FRONT axel. he snapped 2 of the studs YES 2 after the first he went to the second. So my question is are these bolts tapped into the aluminum end of the forks. or are they cast into them. How should I go about removing these bolts and do I need to drill them out? By the way it is a 2000 KX 500.

Thanks Nick

Default RE: KX 500 problems

They look like studs to me.
