Im pretty pissed off not gonna lie. I bought a brand new klx250 (2018) and it runs like garbage. Im not even sure if im in the right forum either. Anyways the bike sputters and shuts off when in idle. While riding the bike loses all power in very quick increments, so bad that it shoves me foward and then it kicks back in. When slowing down the bike bogs to nothing and you have to keep the rpms up or the bike shuts off, while downshifting it bogs then too and when it stalls its a pain to turn back on. I told the dealership where i got it and they said it sounds like a fuel issue. Like as if im putting bad gas in it. So They recommend trying better gas I cant even do that cause i dont know how to drain it. And I cant ride the fuel out of it cause it barely wants to work when the tank was full. So my dad and I look for the hose that goes to cylindrical piece from the tank l, unhook it and nothing comes out. We open the lid to create air flow. The hose smelled like gas so it had to be right. And the hose right next to it goes to "carb" which is confusing cause the bike is fuel injected. Aggravating. Any tips or help would be appreciated

 

If bought new I'd be going back to the dealership with the problem. If new, the warranty will start at the time of sale. They should take care of you. Even if bought used from a dealer they should take care of you - any good dealer will. Just go in with a good attitude that they will help you and odds are they will. Going in with a bad attitude will set the atmosphere to be negative. No one likes people biting their heads off.
