Default Kick stand

Has anyone had an issue with the side stand on a ZZR1200 not setting in on a proper stance ?
First week of owner ship I let my region supervisor take my bike for a spin (Hes a seasoned
rider) pulled into his driveway put the stand down shut the bike off .left it in 1st gear, swung
his leg off over the bike . Before he knew it the stand retracted on him and over he went...
no damage to the bike cause he was under it ....It was funny cause I now have leverage over
him now cause of that.... Not but one week later I rolled it out of my garage it was on an
up hill angle so I set it on the side stand started it up to let it choke out and warm up,
just as I turned to put my helmet on it fell over.... $2300.00 worth of damage.. to that
date I have never dropped a bike period..... The factory sent someone out to look at the stand
he said it was set at the proper angle and there was nothing he could do .....So I took a dremal
tool and grinded 1 1/2 mm out of the rest stop for the kick stand...End of problem Oh I also
should mention the last 3 numbers of the vin are ( 666 ) Yeah I know get rid of it ....

Kickstand problem was very common on the ZRX. It's probably the same stand. Most of us have taken Dremel tool to it.
