i have a 1987 kawaski 650 sx stand up i replaced the stock 28 mm klien carbs with a dual 38mm mikuni carbs i was told this was an easy swap and it was until i got into running the gas hoses i am completly lost is there anyone who has done this modification or has any advice

 

No offense, but exactly why are you doing this swap? Is it running poorly? More ooomph wanted?
I've never done this swap. How many fuel lines do you have now; I'm guessing one or two? Rubber hose or metal fitting (like a car)?
Unless you increase combustion volume or compression, you're still going to be moving the same amount of fuel by virtue of physics.
