I thought it was a good policy, kind of shows that they ar riders too IMO.

glad to hear you are still alive, those pics are amazing. i'm realy surprised that getting hit head on caused so little damage, but then agin what do i know lol.

 

Glad you not hurt any worse. I would try to push the insurance co a bit more.

 

it depends on your converage, how much do you have for collision? call and ask that first, and if they say a cent more than $5500 tell them that the bike was totalled and theyre liable as an insurance company to cover all damages, and you have the right coverage to do so. though, they can loophole around it and only pay for the mods that were wrecked. either way they should be giving you more if you have all that stuff, it adds up pretty fu*king quick.

 

Well the totals are in, for the 2004 Z1000, with mods and all, the ladies insurance co (Geico)paid $5800.00 , So then I also pushed for the messed up gear (which insidently saved my life). So for helmet and jacket a got a grand total of $450.00 with out receipts.. by the way that also included the shirt and jeans that paramedics took scissors to.... oh well.. looking at zx-14... so next time I can do more damage. Just kidding..LOL

my ins will automaticly cover up 2 1000 in accesories after that you gotta claim em and if you want em covered you gotta pay more. really glad your ok head ons dont usually end pretty
