10,000 rpm? ......wow......I'm sure it came back pretty darn quick huh?next time try rolling along at a few mph and then just try hitting the throttle....after that you can bring the clutch into play to see what you must do to bring it up.....though i'm sure you won't be trying any wheelies in the near future.

i just bought some stuff on ebay, thanks for the tip. im having a hell of a time trying to get a new battery though... guess ill have to buy online and wait for it to get here.
also i smell gas vapors around, it but theres no leaking, valve is switched to off. any idea?

its working again!
i spent all yesterday fusing the gauges back together, adn it all works, problem is i dont have anything to stick it too.... looks like the idle speed was set way low, so fixed that, so looks like the battery is okay for now....
i was wondering what is the part in the picture called? i need to buy a new one.. thanks!

There are 2 problems
1. Parts has to be replaced
2.Diagnostics should be done using service manual and electrical diagram.
If you want it like new you should replace all parts first and then if it doesn't start check everything.
If you want to make it run find problem and replace what is nessessery to make it run.
Talk to dealership how much just for diagnistics. Is frame OK?
Nobody can help you w/o seeing bike.
