Default I'm a true idiot

So I lost both my main key and my spare key and even the key number! I have nothing to go off of to get a new key so I'm not sure what I need to do. I'm sure it involves a lot of money though =) Anyone know what I need to do?

Thanks,
Andy

VIN number is usually located on the forks near the handlebars.....get the vin and contact Kawasaki, unless you just wanna pay a lock smith. Kawi can make you a key according to your VIN#. Most car companys are the same way.

VIN#. The dealer may be able to give you the key code off the VIN if you can show proof of it being your bike.

Otherwise, call a locksmith.

Loose the key ignition and just hide a new on-off under the seat or behind one of the fairings. That's as long as its not parked on the street alot!

Contact the dealer or actually kawasaki? Because the dealer wasn't able to give me the key number.

Thanks,
Andy

I'm almost positive that your VIN will contain the info for the key code, but I don't think most dealers will readily give out that info due to security risks. You may want to contact Kawasaki in that case.

I am sure that the dealer who knows you would run the vin and your license in order to obtain the correct key.
